The Case

  • The Claim

    A pair of pants misplaced in 2005 and recovered days later leads to a two-year litigation nightmare for the owners of a neighborhood drycleaning shop. The plaintiff claims that "Satisfaction Guaranteed" and "Same Day Service" signs posted in the shop were misleading.

    Jin Chung, Soo Chung and Ki Chung, owners of Custom Cleaners

  • The Amount

    Over $54 million sued for

  • Cost to the Chungs

    This suit has cost the Chungs dearly in terms of defense costs, years of stress and time away from their family and business.
